color me happy.
i’m happy to be a guest blogger today. i love jess’ fantastic sense of color and style, and overall happiness factor :)

so, that brings me to my inspiration : color. i know this seems kind of simple, but as a graphic & stationery designer over at my blog, you can see i love color. i design and work with a variety of color schemes (mostly girly if i must admit) and i love that color shows your personality. its amazing how we choose so many different items in our wardrobe, but if you think about it… you reflect what you wear, don’t you think?

so, as spring has definitely set here in the upstate of south carolina, i search for those color combos that make me happy. first of all, pink and lime, oranges, yellows. who doesn’t love pink and all its lovely shades? i’m a bold hue kinda girl, not using many unsaturated tones in my design, so you’ll see that the inspiration board i put together above really does show truly who i am. these items in the board are really a reflection of me right now. ready for spring, adventures, life, sunshine, flowers, and the simple things.

so as we head into this lovely little time period we call spring, think about what makes you happy. is it that new top you got? is it the little headpiece you used to give yourself a pop of color, or even that new singer you found that you could listen to for hours? i challenge you to find inside yourself your “simple life.” just think about it. what makes you happy?
