i just don’t know what else to say.
honestly.
i spent most of the day yesterday with tears streaming down my face. you. are. just. so. good.
THANK YOU.
we expected a miracle, but over $1500 in one day? i’m in shock. and the good news? the shop is still open. and orders are still pouring in. and my email is full of people wanting to help, wanting to add their tutorials to the shop, wanting to spread the word. wanting to match donations.
my heart is so full.
most of all, i am so happy that you have felt the power and love and grace that sharlie embodies just from reading her story. you have been moved by her experience and she in turn has been overwhelmed by your goodness. i got a sweet call from her yesterday after she discovered what we’d been up to, and i was so grateful to share your love with her. thank you for sharing it with me.
so many of you have been asking how you can help. and here’s how:
1. if you have a blog, facebook page, twitter account, or any other way to spread the word, please keep talking about shop for sharlie and the give forward page. (we are soo close to our goal to receive the $500 match from give forward!!) the more people that know about the sharlie, the more donations we will receive. Here are some buttons for you to grab for your blog:
2. if you have a tutorial or PDF or other digital file that you would like to add to the shop, please send it to shopforshar@gmail.com. at this time, because of the overwhelming nature of coordinating shipping, and connecting between the buyer and seller of physical donations, we have decided not to accept your generous offers of physical items in the shop. but no worries… see #3!
3. calling all giveaways!! since we have gotten so many requests for the donation of physical items to the shop, we have decided to ask for giveaways all over the blogosphere! please post the item(s) you would like to giveaway on your own blog and ask your readers to donate $5 to the cause in order to enter. for every $5 donated, they will receive 1 entry. on wednesday (that is tomorrow, i suppose!) i will host a linky party to link up all of your giveaways. this will be great exposure since i get lots of fun visitors for what i wore wednesday.
4. if you have a shop and want to donate a portion of your proceeds for 1 item, 1 day, or whatever you can, thank you! just please donate through the give forward widget on the right side bar of the shop!
phew. i think we’ve covered it all.

yes! the give forward page – http://www.giveforward.com/sharliesangels or you can add a widget to your blog that has the give forward sharlie’s angels page. to do that, click on “grab this fundraiser’s widget” on sharlie’s fundraiser page and it will give you the html. THANK YOU!!!
