THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED

I am so honored to be a part of the Spring Board Creative Collaboration hosted by Andrea from Knitty Bitties! I’m up first and I’m super happy about that so I won’t spend the rest of the week getting intimidated by everyone else’s amazing projects!

Have you heard about the Spring Board? Andrea enlisted a few creative types to create a one of a kind project to inspire others to jump into spring. With the help of the Fabric Shoppe, we were each provided with the following supplies:

Fat Quarters {2}
Ric-Rac
Square of Un-Bleached Cotton
Doily

I seriously RACKED my brain trying to think of what to make. I don’t get many opportunities to be creative, believe it or not. So much of my time is spent creating for others in the way of filling orders that I felt completely out of my element once I had the freedom to do whatever I wanted! If you know me, I can’t ever get to far away from fabric flowers or bright colors, so you might not be surprised by what i ended up with.

So again, I started with 2 fat quarters, ric rac, a doily, and a square of unbleached fabric. I also used some scrap fabric, a styrofoam wreath, and some embroidery floss that i had on hand, and here’s what i came up with:

As you can see, I used the fabric provided for several of the flowers and of course the leaves. I used other fabrics to add in other pops of color. The styrofoam wreath I covered in off white fabric and turned the ric rac, doily, and unbleached cotton fabric into a bunting with “joy” embroidered on it. I really love it. Like REALLY love it.

But, I’m giving it away!

Break my heart, I’m ready to ship it off to one of you lucky readers!

To enter, leave me a comment letting me know what is inspiring you this spring!

Be sure to tune into the Spring Board all week long! Can’t wait to see what everyone else came up with. Tomorrow, Heather from Life Made Lovely is up to bat. Thanks to Andrea for the opportunity to step outside of the box!
